For what you've got.

Sitting by the road side, waiting for my client to come. I looked at the hustle and bustle people are making around, the moving cars and everything, it was amazing. But while sitting, I observed little children that were passing by, among the train of hustler.

I noticed two of them. One was a nail cleaner. I saw the neat work he did by cleaning intelligently the nails of his client. With his client seated and relaxed, allowing the boy to cut his nails and make them clean.

After he was done, I noticed that his client brought out hundred naira and told the boy to bring change. The boy then said he doesn't have change, so his client brought out thirty naira, instead of fifty naira  he was supposed to pay.

The boy didn't collect the money, instead, he just stood there and said he can't collect thirty naira. And then I wandered in me why can't his client just leave the whole hundred naira for him. This little boy hustling just to survive.

So later, the boy decided to look for a way to change the money into lower denomination of the currency. After he succeeded in finding a change, of fifty naira and gave his client his money, it then occurred to me that his client was also an hustler, he was a phone part seller (accessories). Oh! It then dawned on me that an hustler was also serving an hustler.

This article wasn't just written to tell you story, but to let you know that you should be thankful for WHAT YOU'VE GOT. You might not be where you want to, but you are living fine than those on the street, you have clothes to wear, and some of us even have cars. So think deep and be grateful for what you've got..

Grateful heart

Who are you?

So on Sunday, I got a call from my boss that I had to go with a client to check a site.  Then I quickly got dressed up, wearing my complete site kit (including my safety boots) and I set out to meet the client.  So on my way, while walking fast and looking for a bike, I met a bike man looking as if he was waiting for someone. Then he stared at me, and asked if I was a soldier.  But instead, I just smiled and behaved as if I was actually a soldier.  Then I told him my destination and without pricing the cost of the t-fare, I boarded the bike just as a soldier would do.  I can’t really explain how and where the boldness came from because when I thought in my mind that I was a soldier, I started behaving like a soldier.  For that few minutes that I was on the bike heading to my destination, I felt the boldness, the strength (if possible), the courage of a soldier.  I felt the respect, the pride and I felt like no one could overpower me.  I fel...

HAPPY NEW YEAR

it's a new year..  Something like a fresh start, be intentional about your life❗️

EXPOSE YOUR LITTLE SECRET

An enemy will continue to torment you, until you TELL THE ONE that's greater than the enemy. Okay...... For example *as a child,* you broke a plate in your own father's house and the housemaid was there when you did, so he holds it as an allegation against you. So anytime you're alone with the maid, he cheats you or may even beat you. And after beating or cheating on you, he tells you that,  "if you try to tell your mum, I'll expose your secret with me. I'll tell mummy that you broke the only plate that she loves so much". So he does this all the time, he creates fear in you, he makes you feel scared of your own mum and may even create a boundary between you and your mum. And for a long time, the child is being tormented by the maid in his house. The mum is suspecting that something is going on with her child. She knows that something is wrong. She then asks her child; "My dear, what's is wrong? Open up to me?"  The child wants to talk, but d...
