Your Emotions matters, but your intentions matters Most

Sometimes we just feel like we want something very urgent, the things are so important that it weighs us down. You become destabilize and feel depressed.

You pray to God in all manner you could and sometimes you even cry. Your emotions become so down and you just feel someone should just hold you by your hands or God should just perform some sharp sharp miracles.

We all feel like this sometimes. Infact, sometimes I cry to God, not because I want to cry to God like a baby for him to pity me, but I just cry to God to ease and feel free again. But do you know that before you even started crying 😢 and praying and pleading for that thing to come or happen, God is already aware of it.

But one bitter truth you should know is that; *YOUR EMOTIONS MATTERS, BUT YOUR INTENTIONS MATTERS MOST*.

God is not a magician who doesn't care about the reason you want something. The truth is that there are some things which he will never do for you because of your intentions, there are some of your prayers he will never answer because of the intentions behind it.

I can never give you a knife when I know you want it to kill me or kill someone. I will never give you money when I know you want to use it for stupid things and I can never bless you when I know that you will become proud and look down on others and not even think of blessings others in return.

Another bitter truth is that you can never hide your intentions from God. He knows you more than how you even know yourself.
He knows your thoughts before you even think about them.

So don't feel crying all your eyes out would make God want to bless or answer you. Instead, make your intentions right.

Hanna in the Bible had her intentions right when she was praying like a mad woman. Daniel in the Den had his intentions right when he was in the palace and Even Jesus had His intentions right when he prayed the cup should pass over him.

So, I'll ask you.
What are your intentions towards that fervent prayer you've been praying?
Is it a right one?

Remember, God knows your thoughts before you even think them.
You cannot hide them from Him.

If you're finding it difficult to have good intentions towards your requests, just pray this short prayer.

Dear father, I acknowledge that my intentions aren't right. I know they are not genuine and good.
I have realized that, but I cannot change them myself or easily.
Lord please come into my life and help me set my intentions right, in Jesus name.
